Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller of personal data processed through this website is Riskalyn Labs s.r.o. (“Riskalyn Labs”, “we”, “us”). The company’s registered details are available in our Company Details. You can contact us about privacy matters at contact@riskalyn.com.

This policy applies to visitors of riskalyn.com and people who contact us through the website, email or other business channels. It does not govern data processing performed by a client in its own systems or under a separate written agreement.

2. Data we process

We process only information relevant to the purpose for which it was provided. This can include your name, company, work email address, telephone number, country, preferred contact method, area of interest, project description, confidentiality preference and any permitted attachment you choose to provide. We also process limited technical information necessary to operate and secure the website, such as server logs, IP address, request time and browser information.

3. Why we process it and our legal basis

• Responding to enquiries and discussing a possible engagement: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, or our legitimate interest in conducting and documenting business communications.
• Managing an active client relationship: performance of a contract and compliance with related legal obligations.
• Protecting the website, preventing abuse and maintaining security: our legitimate interest in operating a secure, reliable service.
• Meeting legal, accounting or record-keeping duties: compliance with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use the contact form to make automated decisions about you. We do not sell personal data or use it for behavioural advertising.

4. Recipients and international transfers

Personal data may be accessible to carefully selected service providers that support website hosting, email delivery, security, backup or professional operations, only where needed and subject to appropriate contractual safeguards. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Riskalyn Labs works internationally. If data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we will use an appropriate transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses, where required by applicable law.

5. Retention

We retain unsuccessful business enquiries for up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is necessary to protect legal claims or comply with law. Information related to a client engagement is retained for the duration of that relationship and afterwards for the period required by applicable law, contractual terms or legitimate record-keeping needs. Security logs are retained only for a limited period appropriate to their purpose.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier processing. To exercise a right, contact us at contact@riskalyn.com.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Slovak data protection authority (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky) or, where applicable, the competent authority in your country of residence or work.

7. Security and confidential information

We apply organisational and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the information we process. Please do not submit passwords, private keys, full payment card details or unnecessary sensitive personal data through the website. Sensitive evidence and large datasets should only be shared through an agreed secure channel.

8. Cookies and changes

Information about browser storage and cookies is provided in our Cookie Policy. We may update this policy when our services, legal obligations or processing activities change. The current version will be published on this page with an updated date.
